Eng. Abel Mashoko

Managing Director

Eng. Abel Mashoko is a co-founder of Zambezi Consulting Engineers (Zim). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. With 20 years of experience in the design and supervision of electrical engineering projects, Eng. Mashoko has extensive expertise in multi-storey buildings, substations, MV/LV power reticulation, lighting and small power, energy management, vertical transportation, and earthing and protection systems. He has delivered projects across Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, and Zambia.

Operations Director and Electrical Engineering Lead

Eng. Lovejoy Ndebele is a co-founder of Zambezi Consulting Engineers (Zim). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). With 16 years of experience in detailed design, technical specifications, bills of quantities, project management, supervision, and inspections, Eng. Ndebele leads fire detection, voice evacuation, fire suppression, CCTV, access control, IT, and building management systems. His portfolio includes world-renowned hotel brands, office parks, resorts, airports, and hospitals across Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, and Zambia.

Eng. Tatenda Cock is a co-founder of Zambezi Consulting Engineers (Zim). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Industrial Engineering, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP®). With 15 years of experience in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Namibia, Eng. Cock specialises in detailed design, technical specifications, bills of quantities, project management, supervision, and inspections of mechanical systems — including fire protection, water systems, thermal energy storage, VRF and VAV systems, heat recovery, smoke and air extraction, ventilation, and pressurisation.
